The Johne's Disease Research Consortium is an Unincorporated Joint Venture
established in 2008 with a mandate to reduce the impact of Johne's disease on farm
in New Zealand. It has as its participants Beef + Lamb NZ Ltd, DairyNZ Inc,
DEEResearch Ltd, Massey University, University of Otago, AgResearch Ltd and
Livestock Improvement Corporation. The Meat Industry Association and Dairy
Companies Association of NZ are associate participants and Landcorp Farming Limited
is a Research Investment Partner. JDRC receives funding from the Ministry of Science and
Innovation Research Consortia scheme.
